The Marketing Associate will contribute to the planning and implementation of marketing strategy to support the mission of the Old Art Building. Additionally this role is responsible for coordinating digital and print media, website management and market research.

Experience and General Requirements
4-year degree, preferably Marketing, Advertising or related field.
Entry-level marketing experience with a minimum of 2-4 years in coordinating marketing and/or advertising campaigns
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Unparalleled communication, writing, and editing skills required.
Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques.
Keen eye for graphic design, attention to detail, and creativity.
Proficiency with various social media platforms including Facebook & Instagram
Proficiency with Adobe suite, Canva or similar software
Website administration experience (WordPress preferred)
Project management experience is helpful
Interest and knowledge of current marketing trends
Coordinate marketing strategy to support organizational mission
Plans and develops communications to support organizational marketing objectives.
Collaborate with the OAB team to develop an annual marketing content calendar.
Devise and manage marketing initiatives to meet program and event goals.
Coordinate marketing strategy on co-sponsored events with partner organizations.
Perform market research within broader community to identify target audiences
Utilize data to improve quality and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Develop innovative ways to reach a target demographic.
Identify opportunities for new content and PR based projects that drive organizational objectives.
Analyze results from marketing campaigns to determine successful outcomes.
Website management (WordPress)
updating to promote classes, exhibits and events
prepare graphics & images for web
Responsible for coordination of digital and print media
Ensure consistent and regular messaging across all platforms
Create engaging and shareable content for web, social media, email
Print Materials: development of print marketing brochures, publications, fundraising materials, office forms, work with vendors to coordinate printing and mailing, partner with ED on content development for Annual Report
Email Communication: (Constant Contact): design monthly newsletters and special event communication, partner with ED on monthly letter (content & creation)
Social Media: manage Instagram & Facebook Accounts, work with the OAB team to create a social media content calendar, plan—design—implement—monitor social media marketing campaigns to ensure integration into organization’s strategic marketing plans.
Responsible for creation and distribution of ads to local media outlets.
work with OAB staff to set an ad calendar to meet needs of the program/event calendar.
manage relationships with local media contacts.
coordinate press releases for programs/events.
submit event information to local community calendars
Assist with designated evening/weekend programs (concerts, exhibits, community events) throughout the year as staff team member.
Physical Requirements
Must possess the ability and capability to perform any task in the office. Must be able to lift 15 lbs or more, be able to physically move through the office unaided, and have excellent visual and hearing acuity.
The Office Administrator will oversee all operations across our small organization office. They are responsible for welcoming visitors, coordinating meetings, appointments and directing various projects.

Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative role
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with database management is preferred
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a bonus
Experience interacting with the public at a front desk.
Friendly, outgoing personality to work with all ages/groups
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Responsibilities
Front desk
welcome and manage visitors to the building
answer telephone calls and emails. Answering questions or directing them to the relevant staff.
manage schedules for conference and community spaces
submit event information to local community calendars
submit Press releases
Database management
enter and acknowledge donations and memberships
Process thank you letters
create class & event listings in database
enter class & event registrations
manage updates to contact information
produce reports and lists for staff & board
provide class/event support as needed; labels, nametags, class/event rosters
Bookkeeping support
enter deposits to Quickbooks
prepare bank deposits
prepare bills & invoices for bookkeeper
Office coordination
maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, of records, invoices and other important documentation
manage emails, letters, packages and other forms of correspondence.
monitoring and ordering inventory for office/building supplies
scheduling repairs and maintenance with office/building equipment vendors
maintain records of business contracts & payments
Rental Management
Respond to rental inquiries
Coordinate rental calendar with staff
Manage the rental documents and payments (contracts, deposits, insurance requirements.)
Assist with 1-2 designated evening/weekend events
Assist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so
