Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included with the Old Art Building rental?
Materials included in rental:

  • Five 30” high-top tables
  • Fifteen 30” café tables
  • Ten 6’ rectangular tables
  • Ten 8’ rectangular tables
  • 200 upholstered chairs (inside use only)
  • Multi-media facility with large screen for presentations
  • Street parking available
  • Caterer’s kitchen (no stove or oven)
  • Indoor restrooms
  • Air conditioning
  • Handicap accessible

What is the capacity of inside seating?

  • 160 people, seated theater style or
  • 110 people, eated around tables

How big of a tent will fit in front yard?

  • The largest tent possible is 40’ x 80’.
  • The most commonly used tent is 30’ x 30’; 30’ x 60’.
  • You can also put several smaller tents around the yard.

Are linens available for the tables?
No, please rent your own linens for your event.

Do you have restrooms inside?
Yes, Men’s room and Women’s room, with a changing table. Both are handicap accessible.

Can we have a band?
Yes. We can talk further about the set up and sound system, but the stage is a great place for a band, or outside in a tent (before 10 PM).

Do you have a sound system available?
Yes, there is a mixer that feeds the main amp for the surround sound 
system. The system easy to use with an iPhone, laptop or iPad. Beyond that, we ask you to notify us of your needs.

What are the noise restrictions?
We are in a residential neighborhood, with a sound ordinance of 10 PM quiet time.

Is there air conditioning?
Yes!

Do you have video projection capabilities?
Yes, there is a large (16’ x 10’) screen and multi-media projection system.

Is there an outdoor power source?
Yes, depending on electrical demands you may need to supplement.

Who does the set up/clean up?
You do. We will review all the procedures with you in advance. You can have a staff person on site for an additional fee if you like, but you are responsible for the set-up and take-down of your event.

As a touring musician, there are those venues that stick with us, that jump out of the never- ending parade of gigs and make us grateful to do what we do. For me, the Old Art Building is one of those.
