In this workshop students will learn to make their own whimsical mystical and magical creatures inspired by their favorite fantasy books like Where the Wild Things Are. They will learn skills like embroidery, needle felting and hand sewing. Each student will go home with a completed Creature of their own.

About Alyssa
Alyssa Brieanne Jordan is a textile artist and designer. She has taught in the Northern Michigan area for the last 6 years and studied Textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has her own Fine Arts practice where she creates weavings and embroidered pieces inspired by her love of vintage textiles and historical embroidery techniques.
