The 40th Anniversary Revival of North Country Opera toured Michigan in October of 2022. A recording of the final performance, North Country Opera: Recorded Live at the Ark, was screened for the first time at the historic Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, in front of hundreds of plaid-clad audience members.
This screening is part of a six stop tour throughout Michigan, returning to some of the original performance venues to present the film in the new format. We will be joined by one of the original cast members for a song and brief Q&A in advance of the screening.
