Join local Leland artist Kristin MacKenzie Hussey for a fun and festive watercolor class at the Old Art Building. Inspired by her family tradition of gifting a special ornament to each other every Christmas Eve, this workshop will teach you how to create a one-of-a-kind watercolor ornament that can be treasured for years to come.

New to watercolors? No worries! Kristin will guide you through all of the steps, including the basics of watercolor painting, and will teach simple painting techniques to make this an attainable and enjoyable craft for all levels of experience.

What you'll create:
A one-of-a-kind ornament: this includes a small, hand-painted watercolor, which will be framed in a brass & glass ornament and hung from a silk ribbon. (There will be lots of practice sheets of watercolor paper so no pressure on getting it perfect on your first try!) All supplies will be provided.
