Urban sketching is drawing on location to record your surroundings and experiences. Any place you find inspiring can be an urban sketch! Urban Sketching is enjoyable for artists of any drawing skill level. Color is added with watercolor, colored pens or pencils. Learn starter tips and techniques for sketching on location both indoors and outside, close to home or while traveling. An urban sketch is a joy to do and the best part is it’s just for you!

We will begin inside the Old Art Building with demonstrations and instruction. We will practice from photos before going outside to sketch on OAB grounds. After a short lunch break we will meet inside to start the afternoon’s session. Individual help available throughout the day.
