This strengthening sequence flows (links movement and breath) in a lateral direction and focuses on opening hips with less pressure on shoulders and wrists. Standing asanas include lunges, triangle pose, warrior poses, twists and balance work. Core work is woven throughout. Seated postures continue deepening and we close the practice in Savasana, final relaxation. The practice can be modified according to each student's ability, allowing for scaling back to a more gentle approach or finding ways to increase intensity for more advanced and energetic yogis. Appropriate for active beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
To ensure our safety Lunar Vinyasa will take place in the Old Art Building with a limited number of participants. All mats (bring your own) will be spaced at an appropriate social distance from one another. Masks are required.
