REGISTER NOWEat authentic Japanese food, play games, and feel like you are in Japan for 2 days! Learn to sing songs in Japanese, fold origami, write in calligraphy and make a woodblock print. You will drink miso soup with chopsticks, roll and eat sushi, and participate in a tea ceremony with Michelle Racich. Each day you will learn Japanese greetings and speak common phrases. Discover Japanese culture through food, play, and art.
This is a 2-day class meeting Wednesday and Thursday.

Meet Karen Kirt
Karen Kirt has a MA in Education, Asian History & Japanese. She was an elementary teacher at an international school in Japan for four years, and also attended graduate school at a Japanese University for two years. Karen lives in Leelanau County and teaches 3rd & 4th grade at Leland Public School.
