Visit Art of the Garden Virtual Art Sale!

Leelanau Community Cultural Center, in collaboration with the Little Garden Club, is pleased to announce a virtual/online presentation of the Art of the Garden Exhibit and Sale. This exhibit will feature artwork of the flora and fauna of the garden from artists in a variety of medium. The show will open with an Earlybird preview and sale on June 25 at 3 pm. Tickets for the Earlybird sale are $25 and available at MyNorthTickets.com. The exhibit will open to the public one hour later at 4 pm and will continue until July 15.

Artists, local or associated with the OAB/LGC, have been invited to participate and allowed to enter 3 pieces. 40% of all sales will benefit, the LCCC, and the Little Garden Club. This exhibit is usually a biannual event in conjunction with the Little Garden Club’s Garden Tour. Due to this year’s COVID-19 the tour has been postponed to 2021. With the ability to present the art show online, in a different virtual venue, the show will go on.

Despite Garden Tour 2020 being postponed until next year, all garden hosts for this year have agreed to present their gardens next year. The 2021 tour will feature seven inspiring gardens for the public to visit. Proceeds from the Garden Tour and Art of the Garden Exhibit are the Little Garden Club’s primary source of funding for grants. The grant program supports local garden beautification and plant education projects in Leelanau County.
