At The Old Art Building

Eat authentic Japanese food, play games, & feel like you are in Japan for 3 days! Eat miso soup with chopsticks, participate in a tea ceremony & roll sushi. Learn to sing songs in Japanese, fold origami, write in calligraphy and make authentic Japanese art. Each day you will learn Japanese greetings & speak common phrases, discover Japanese culture, and enjoy their foods for maybe the first time.

Karen Kirt has a MA in Education, Asian History & Japanese.  Karen was an elementary teacher at an international school in Japan for four years.  She also attended graduate school at a Japanese University for two years. Karen teaches 5th/6th Multiage at Leland Public School.
