Fiber Frenzy, etc. will be a giant sale of ‘gently-used,’ completed, handmade (not mass-produced) works of fiber art created by local and national artists offered at bargain prices. Shoppers will have the chance to scoop up arty and unusual wearable infants, kids and adult clothing like sweaters, coats, jackets, dresses; accessories such as jewelry, hats, scarves, shawls, bags; puppets and toys. And there will be fiber art for interiors such as needlework; table linens, runners, napkins, placemats; traditional and art quilts; doilies, potholders, tea cozies; afghans, rugs, pillows, tapestries; dolls and fiber sculptures; vintage textiles
You might be wondering where we plan to get items to sell? We are certain that lots of us have fiber art in dresser drawers, cupboards, or storage boxes that we’re keeping but don’t use anymore for one reason or another. Fiber Frenzy, etc. will be the perfect place to find a new fiber-art lover to take these off our hands! All donations are tax deductible.
Here is how the weekend will unfold:
Donations accepted: Thursday, May 25, 11 am – 6 pm
Donations accepted: Friday, May 25, 9 am – 12 noon

We think Fiber Frenzy, etc. sounds like lots of fun – and we’ll be raising money for a great cause. All proceeds from the Fiber Frenzy, etc. sale will go owards the purchase of technical equipment for the stage.
